How Can severe Constipation be Treated?

Hi- I go to the toilet 4 to five times a day and this has been happening for the past two months. I have gas passing most of the time too. I eat healthy diet everyday but the consistency of my stool has changed from solid to a bit loose most of the time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
In many cases, it's possible to relieve the symptoms by making dietary and lifestyle changes. Increase your daily intake of fibre. High-fibre foods include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and cereals. Add some bulking agents, such as wheat bran, to your diet. Avoid dehydration by drinking plenty of water and exercise more regularly. If there is no improvement then some laxatives or glicerine suppositories ma be beneficial but these should be avoided unless in severe cases.
I hope I have answered your query. Wish you good health.
